1994 年于兰州大学化学系有机化学专业获得学士学位。1999 年经兰州大学化学系与北京大学化学与分子工程学院联合培养获理学博士学位。1999年和2002年先后在英国利兹大学与牛津大学从事博士后研究。2004 年6 月被兰州大学聘为教授,现任功能有机分子化学国家重点实验室副主任。
