刘建全,男,汉族,1969年3月生,四川井研人,2007年先后入选国家自然科学基金委“国家杰出青年基金获得者”和教育部“长江学者”特聘教授。1991年7月毕业于四川大学生物系,获学士学位;1994年7月、1999年7月中国科学院研究生院获硕士学位、博士学位。1999/10-2002/04,中国科学院西北高原生物研究所,副研究员; 2001/03-2002/04 日本森林综合研究所, 特别研究员(STA fellow);2002/06-2004/10,中国科学院西北高原生物研究所,研究员2004/10-, 兰州大学,生命科学学院,教授。获全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖(2001)、国家自然科学二等奖(2004, 3/5)、中国青年科技奖(2007)、中国高校10大科技进展(2012)等奖励。从事进化生物学研究,主要成绩包括:(1)长期坚持在青藏高原及邻近艰苦地区进行科学考察,积累了大规模的野外调查数据和实验材料;(2)研究了地质、环境、气候变化对生物进化与分布的影响,特别是系统研究了高原地区植物物种多样化过程和它们对第四纪气候变迁的进化响应;(3)研究了高原、干旱地区植物种群和群落对极端环境的生态适应和代谢优化策略;(4)系统研究了牦牛的驯化及其对高原特殊生境的生命适应;(5)初步开展了一字儿重要经济植物的驯养、育种和扩繁。以通讯联系人在国际著名刊物,如Nature Genetics, PNAS (3篇)、Molecular Ecology(6篇)等杂志上发表了一批论文,被Science, PNAS, Ecology Letter等综合或学科领域杂志引用上千次。
