刘翔,男,汉族,教授,兰州大学萃英特聘教授,教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者,2008年“全国百篇优秀博士学位论文”获得者,全国优秀青年基金获得者。2000年至2006年在南开大学物理学院学习,取得理论物理专业博士学位。2006年至2008年在北京大学物理学院理论物理研究所从事博士后研究。随后,获葡萄牙科学技术基金会(FCT)资助在葡萄牙科英布拉大学(Coimbra University)从事粒子物理研究。
