周金元,男,汉族,1981年08月生,湖北黄冈人,中共党员,博士,青年教授,硕士研究生指导教师。
  2002年毕业于兰州大学物理科学与技术学院,获学士学位(物理学),2010年获博士学位(凝聚态物理)。2010-2012年新加坡南洋理工大学机械与宇航工程学院博士后。2002年起在兰州大学物理科学与技术学院(含兰州医学院)任教,先后被聘为助教(2002),讲师(2010),副教授(2013),青年教授(2016)。2015年被聘为兰州大学凝聚态物理学专业硕士生导师。
  目前主要的研究方向为:稀土掺杂半导体纳米材料的制备及性能研究,碳纳米管及其复合材料的力电性能研究,以及在新能源器件中的应用。主持和参与国家自然科学基金 4项,参与甘肃省自然科学基金1项;已在Small、Nanoscale、Carbon、J. Power Sources、ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces、APL等国际知名SCI期刊杂志上发表了70余篇学术论文,总引用次数为1000余次,H-index为19,i10-index为37。
