| Abstract | 中国伊斯兰教分为三大教派、四大门宦，西道堂是三大教派之一，它因具有许多显著不同的特点而备受民族学、宗教学界的重视。
西道堂是随着清朝中后期中国伊斯兰教大分化的波浪而出现的，它的产生有着深厚的时代背景和社会背景，创始人马启西是中过秀才的穆斯林知识分子，他在伊斯兰教适应中国传统文化方面迈出的步子更大，将伊斯兰文化与儒家文化完美地结合在一起。
西道堂在建立、发展过程中，经受了种种磨难，付出了血的代价，两任教长和上百名教徒为此献出了生命。上自教长，下至普通教徒，历经无数挫折而矢志不渝，最终使西道堂并立于两大教派和四大门宦中间。
西道堂除具有伊斯兰教派的一般特点外，它强烈的伊、儒相结合；独特的集体生活形式；发展商业的入世思想；以及大力发展文化教育和务实进取的宗教变革思想等特点，使它以清新的面貌出现在世人的面前。" |
| Other Abstract | The Chinese Islamism is divided into three great religious sections, four MEN HUANS(门宦)， XI DAO TANG is one of the three great religious sections。The ethnology and religious academic circles pay attention to it because it has many different characteristics
XI DAO TANG appeared along with the Chinese Islamism bigly dividing wave in the mid-term of empress of Manchu Dynasty ,its emerging has the deep ages background and the social background. The founder ------Ma Qixi is a fine talent in the Muslim intellectuals, he made the Islamism adapt to the Chinese Confucianism culture, he also made Islamism culture and Confucianism culture more perfectly combinative together.
In the founding and developing times,XI DAO TANG suffered from many kinds of tragedy gived the price , two founders and more than 100 follower dedicated their life for this. From the religious leader to the follower，they persisted their religious till XI DAO TANG among the three great religious section and four MEN HUAN S(门宦)。
Besides the common distinctive features of the Islamism, XI DAO TANG has characteristic of strongly combative of Islamism culture and the Chinese Confucianism culture, special communes life , the worldly thought to develop commerce ,strongly developing culture and education, the religious thought to strive for thoroughness and reform ,these make it appear in front of people of this world with the delightfully fresh feature." |
