|Other Abstract||Objective:to Explore the different age groups of men and women (21-70 years old) spectrum imaging of the lumbar spine, and to evaluate the feasibility of spectral CT in measurement of bone mineral density.
Methods:①totally male 97 cases, female 109 cases did lumbar spine GSI examination with spectral CT. The males and females were divided into five groups according to age. Recorded L2 vertebral spectrum curve 11 CT values under different KeV, 70KeV -CT value, the calcium (water) concentration, water (calcium) concentration.②Selected 128 cases were measured by DEXA bone density method, measured and recorded the bone mineral density.③Analysis of variance was used to Analyze differences between males and females with different age groups; T-test was used to Analyze differences between males and females with same age groups. Pearson correlation analysis was done in the following two groups: The first group include age, CT-values, calcium (water) and water (calcium) concentration; The sceond group include calcium (water) concentration and BMD.
Result:①The males and females spectrum curves of different age groups were performance as downhill type. The 21-30 years old and 41-50 years age group spectrum curve was similar. Males and females in 31-40 years old age group, the average spectra curve was highest, in the 61-70 year-old age group, the average spectrum curve was lowest. Between males and females of the same age group: 21-50 years old age groups spectrum curve were Similar.②energy spectrum concentration showed positive relationship to age in people≤40year, showed Negative relationship to age in people＞40year. males of different age groups between 21-50 years old age group and females of different age groups between 21-30 and 41-50 years old, the energy spectrum concentration showed no significant difference; Male and female comparison between 21-50 in the same age group energy spectrum concentration showed no significant difference,and between the age group of 51-60 and 61-70 were significantly different.③Calcium (water) concentration and BMD showed positive relationship.
Conclusion：The Spectral imaging feature of The lumbar spine have certain characteristics, GSI can be use to Measure the bone mineral density.
