|Other Abstract||Scientific research is one of the main tasks of college teachers,Scientific research output is the direct reflection of the results of scientific research activities.It also can directly reflect the teacher's scientific research level and it is one of the evaluation standards to measure whether teachers can transform their own knowledge into social products and fulfill their functions of creating knowledge, spreading knowledge and serving society.Therefore, it is of great significance to clarify the influencing factors of teachers'scientific research output for the promotion of teachers'professional growth and development, the creation of a good scientific research environment, and the promotion of university scientific research innovation.As the main force of scientific research and innovation,exploring the factors that influence the scientific research output of university teachers has a profound impact on building a powerful country of innovative higher education,especially in the process of Chinese transformation from a "talent country"to a "talent powerful country".Therefore, the research object of this paper is subject teachers of higher education discipline and this paper tries to find out the factors that influence the scientific research output of teachers in higher education,meanwhilebased on a demographic perspective,putting forward the proposal for optimizing teachers'research environment and enhance teachers'research output.
Based on this background,firstly, through literature review and combined with existing research conclusions,the influencing factors of teachers'scientific research output were investigated from seven dimensions, including age, gender, highest degree, professional title, administrative position, discipline background and overseas education.Secondly, the Delphi method is used to design and construct the index system of teachers'scientific research output, which is composed of four dimensions, namely, high-level papers, published works, projects, and awards,and the index weight is determined by and analytic hierarchy process.Thirdly, choosing 181 teachersthatstudying higher education Then,collecting the information of teachers'age, gender, highest degree, professional title, administrative position, discipline background, overseas education and research output.Finally, SPSS24.0 software was used to collate and analyze the data. After difference analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, the following conclusions were drawn.
First, the professional title is positively correlated with the scientific research output of teachers. Specifically, the higher the professional title is, the more teachers'high-level theory, published works, presided over projects and won scientific research awards.Second, there is a positive correlation between administrative positions and teachers'scientific research output. Specifically, compared with teachers who do not hold administrative positions, teachers who hold administrative positions have more high-level papers, published works, presided over projects and won more scientific research awards.Third, there is a negative correlation between overseas education and teachers'scientific research output. Specifically, compared with teachers without overseas education, "returned"teachers have fewer high-level papers, published works, hosted projects and won scientific research awards. Fourth, there is no correlation between subject background and teachers'research output.Fifth,The overall level of scientific research output of teachers in higher educationdisciplineis low.
Based on the above research conclusions, university administrators should pay attention to the following points，firstly,Optimizing the structure of teachers'professional titles.secondly,encouraging competent teachers to take administrative posts.thirdly,eliminating "label awareness"and reject "only overseas returnees".In this way, teachers can be selected and trained better, and contribute to improving teachers'scientific research ability and increasing teachers'scientific research output.Fourthly,Stimulate the research potential of interdisciplinary teachers.Fifthly,Strengthen discipline team building.Fifthly,The teacher raises the bar for himself.|
