|Other Abstract||In the technology age of today, Heidegger&rsquos thoughts on language latch on to the returning to the First Beginningand prophesy the opening of the Another Beginning. Heidegger&rsquos thinking on language appears towards the Alternative Path, and, as the language flowers Alternative Pathhas blossomed, differs from metaphysics. Thereby, his thoughts shall return to the simplicity and plainness of nature and his language shall return to its original notion of itself. Realization of that issue is through the clarification of the nature of Greek ά&lambdaή&theta&epsilon&iota&alpha[open concealing, truth] . And that is where the meaningfulness of Heidegger&rsquos thoughts on language lies. Heidegger&rsquos philosophical juices on language tackle the crisis of modern technology as to open up a new world for mankind. All in all, great significance of Heidegger&rsquos thoughts on language tells: Returning to nature and innocence, recovering human&rsquos original nature, living poetically.
However, the political issues of Heidegger's existential philosophy cannot be neglected and our further exploration is deserved. Ignorance and neglect of political and ethical issues are the very problems of Heidegger&rsquos existential philosophy, which, and therefore, leads to his relationship with the Nazis. And that is where Strauss penetrate into Heidegger&rsquos thought and on debating with Heidegger rests his achievement of classical political philosophy. The love of wisdom, the virtue of prudence, the conservation of philosophy and the reformation of politics are the foundations of Strauss&rsquos political philosophy. Strauss&rsquophilosophical ideas are freed from the premises of modern philosophy and are, based on the political philosophy from the classical perspective, the rectification of the bias and completion of the deficiency of Heidegger's existential philosophy.
While synthesizing Zhang Zhiyang's thought and the debate between the successors of Heidegger, SunZhouxing and ZhangXianglong, andthe successor of Strauss, Liu Xiaofeng, this paper gives its view. The technology-ruled age of contemporary society is the product of western civilization, imbued with the same spirit. Nevertheless, by virtue of material power, the technological nature of western civilization has swept all other civilizations around the world. Consequently, the crisis of western civilization has become the crisis of the world. We take that as the very opportunity and time to question and reflect on western civilization and to turn our eyes and mind back to Chinese civilization. Chinese moral civilization helps us to understand western technological and industrial civilization, of its materialistic and utilitarian nature. And it thus helps us reach a "harmony"position and well handle the relationship between "god, mankind and being". Namely, our civilization advocates the doctrine of the golden mean, "having great thoughts in heart and holding a moderate view on the world". Thereout, we see western civilization of its Mediterranean characteristics, but not of universal values all over the world.|
