|Other Abstract||The questioning of the thing comes with or even precedes philosophy. In the history of philosophy, this question has appeared in various forms, and has been answered differently in different epochs. They all indicate their deeper origin, no matter which one of them. In virtue of this particular questioning, we can rethink all kinds of things which are from metaphysics. The crucial point is that, through a way of questioning which is different from, or even beyond metaphysics, we get nearer to the authentic thing itself. It also requires us to use a different way, which is called Denken, to think. On the way of this questioning, we have various paths. Heidegger's thoughts, as our road sign, guide us forward. This thesis will illustrate that one of the paths is to explain the thing in the aspect of the world. Heidegger himself had followed this path his whole life. To think the thinging of the thing from the worlding of the world, in this sense we can reach the essence of both. This is the main purpose of this thesis, the interpretation of Heidegger&rsquos questioning of the thing in terms of the worlding.
Specifically, this thesis will first explain Heidegger's thinking of the thing in being and time. In this book, Heidegger, guided by the meaning of being, did not directly explain what the thing is, but had given us the hints of the thingness. In the original whole of being-in-the-world, the worldliness and the beings which are within the world have been interpreted interactively. This two have been attributed to Dasein&rsquos understanding of being. The tradition of explaining things, that is without the world phenomenon, as beings with substantive and extension had been deconstructed by the whole of being-in-the-world, but the thingness of the thing itself still hadn&rsquot been explained. One of the reasons is that, the world phenomenon shouldn&rsquot only be constructed formally by the understanding of Dasein. But Heidegger had pointed out that there is a peculiar equipment that can take the indicating whole into the circumspective and make the world reveal. This equipment is sign. Similar to this, in the origin of the work of art, the work of art has played the role as "proto-sign"in some extent. In this article, Heidegger raised the thinking of the striving between world and earth. The original striving had been defined as truth, and the art is the progress that the truth set into the work itself. Based on this, it came to the conclusion that the thing-element is the earth-element. But this explanation is still not original enough, because such concept of the thing still comes from the Herstellen. Finally, in the article the thing, Heidegger interpreted the thing as the gathering of the Four: heaven, earth, mortal and immortal. The world is the reflecting-game (or translated as mirror-play) of the Fourfold. The thing things, the world worlds. The nearness of the two makes their own essence. Only in this sense, the thing can become itself.|
